We were first introduced to each other while working together at Tropical Smoothie Café. What began as a friendship gradually became something stronger, even though Alan had some hesitation to make the first move. With the help of some "subtle" hints by our friends, and with Gisseliz sneakily planning our first date by telling the rest of the group to cancel, we found ourselves beginning our story together.

Gisseliz says: It was love at first sight. Corny I know, but albeit true. I was walking in for my interview and saw Alan working the register. The moment I saw him I knew somehow, someway, he would be mine. If it were not for my mother and aunt, who moved me to Lake Nona High, where I met my best friend Justin, who got me the job interview, I don't know where I would be today. Alan says: It was early in the morning, a few hours before one of my most important final exams. While doing some last minute studying, I got a text to walk outside. To my surprise, Gisseliz had driven to my place to greet me with a gesture that would mean more to me than she could ever have anticipated. An assortment of snacks and sweets to help me through the day, and the simple knowledge that she was thinking of me during such a stressful moment. This was the spark that let me know she was the one. Both of these moments merged our paths into one. We both started to realize that we may just have been fortunate enough to have found our soulmate. The next few years were spent strengthening that belief, and now we are here, together, ready to celebrate with you!
