Our Story
Giselle & Whitney met with a bit of luck and Hinge: a true millennial love story! They matched on the app during Seattle PRIDE 2023. Whitney was in town for the weekend visiting friends & had an extra Erykah Badu concert ticket. Giselle wanted plans that didn't involve the queer bar circuit downtown.
They met at the show, but hardly even watched Erykah Badu on stage. They opted to take a walk outside of the concert venue that evening as their conversation evolved into a deep-dive of art, ideas, hopes, and dreams. They knew from that first evening they had found a rare and special connection.
With a cross-country move to Brooklyn, New York, they spent the next two years filling their home with so much laughter, adventure and love. Whitney proposed after a visit to the Christmas Lightscape at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. Giselle proposed back a few months later on the beach in Barcelona. They cannot wait to celebrate this new beginning with the people who mean so much to them!
