We met nearly fifteen years ago in high school, back when life was all hallway drama and endless possibilities. At the time she was with someone else, but the moment I saw her, I knew she would be mine. So I walked up, smiled, and said without missing a beat "When are you dumping that loser to be with me?" It was gutsy, maybe even reckless, but something about that moment stuck. It was the first spark in a story that neither of us saw coming, and looking back now, it feels like the most honest start we could've had. Years passed, and life pulled us in different directions we lost touch, made our share of mistakes, and followed paths that didn’t always make sense. But then, out of the blue, like a story picking up its most unexpected chapter, we reconnected. That familiar spark was still there, buried beneath years of experience and growth. Rekindling our friendship felt like rediscovering a part of ourselves we didn’t know we’d been missing. And with open hearts and a little courage, we decided to give this wild, beautiful adventure a real chance.
