FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Attire: Beach Casual. Light, breathable fabrics are recommended. For men, we suggest linen pants and shirts in pastel colors like nude, sage green, light blue, light brown, or ivory. For women, a flowy long dress with comfortable sandals in the same color palette will keep you stylish and comfortable on the sand.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, Crandon Park has ample parking near the ceremony site. Please park in front of the Crandon Park Paradise Cove Shelter. We recommend arriving early to find a spot and avoid any delays. Price: $10 for the entire day.

Question

Will the ceremony be on the sand?

Answer

Yes, we’ll be exchanging vows on the beach. We’ll have a shoe valet section where you can leave your shoes during the ceremony and wear them again for the reception. Feel free to go barefoot for the ceremony if you prefer! To keep you comfortable, we’ll provide chairs, water, and fans, and the ceremony will be near palm trees to enjoy the breeze.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 1:30 PM, as the ceremony will start promptly at 2:00 PM. We need to leave Crandon Park by sundown, so we want to ensure everything runs smoothly and on time.

Question

What happens if I can’t make it on time?

Answer

No worries! We understand if you’re running late, but we encourage arriving early so you don’t miss the ceremony!

Question

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors on the beach. We’ll have a backup plan in case of rain, so stay tuned for any weather-related updates. The reception will be held at the Paradise Cove Shelter, just a few feet away from the ceremony site. We’ll walk there together after the ceremony, and the shelter has a roof to ensure we stay comfortable.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please check the RSVP details for your specific invitation. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out to us.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love children, we have limited space and have only included a few little ones in our guest list. We kindly ask that you leave your children at home, so we can fully enjoy the celebration with you.

Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have a reception with sangria, beer, wine, water, and sodas. The menu will feature seafood paella, salad, maduros, charcuterie, and fruits. For guests who are allergic to seafood or prefer not to eat seafood paella, we’ll have an option of arroz con pollo available. We look forward to sharing this meal and celebrating with you!

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our celebration is the greatest gift of all. However, if you wish to contribute, a monetary gift to help us start our new life together would be greatly appreciated. We will have a table with a gift box where you can leave your contribution. Thank you for your generosity!
