Kenzie nominated herself for this role years ago, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We met in the summer at ISU and I’ve been stuck with her ever since. She is the most organized person I know so expect her to come to you with charts and assignments. She knows how to have a good time and refuses to go home before the bar closes. You’ll probably catch her out on the dance floor busting some never before seen moves.

Maid of Honor
My first friend/roommate at ISU. It all started when my mom made some weird comment to Shelby’s mom and then volunteered Shelby to take me to the grocery store. She will be the calm one making sure everybody has everything they need. She will calm your nerves and boost your spirit. You will also find her alongside Kenzie making sure the dance floor is never empty and your drink is always full.

One of my longest friends. We met in middle school in a town known as EP and then we went to college together. I couldn’t get her out of my room. If you want some funny stories of ISU experiences then she’s your girl. She is a great entertainer, but absolutely awful at video games. If you’re looking to get down low, then keep a look out for this one.

My suite-mate at ISU. I’ve been fortunate enough to have a bunch of friends that know how to have a good time and this is one of them. You’ll probably find her and Kenzie looking for a 5am bar or asking if we can keep the venue open for another hour. She’ll also more than likely be on the dance floor or off to the side making a TikTok. You need help with social media look no further.

My fellow Elle that I met at ISU. We became friends very quickly in the summer staying at ISU. We connected over our love of pool days and concerts. If you ask Brad she’s one of the bigger enabler’s amongst my friends. So if you have an empty glass don’t let her see it. She’ll be expecting good music and good tea.

You won’t be able to miss her. She’ll be one of the few people not needing a mic to be able to hear her. She’s our yes girl. So if you’re looking for someone to say yes to a drink, a dance, a bar she’s your girl. She’ll probably be the one to start a dance circle and to make sure everything is being filmed.

Laurel heard me watching pitch perfect while waiting for class and we bonded over our appreciation for the movie. We stayed friends through college, but lost touch when she moved to California. We became close friends when fate brought us together again on a random blue line train home. We became roommates and would spend countless hours watching Love island (UK). She won’t pressure you to drink, but is easily pressured herself to drink.

Who better to stand by Brad’s side as best man than his youngest brother, Andrew—the one who’s been with him through thick and thin since day one. Andrew’s easy to spot in any crowd, usually thanks to his signature (and ever-evolving) hairstyle. Come wedding day, who knows what bold new look he’ll debut. One thing’s certain: it’ll turn heads, spark a few laughs, and perfectly match the energy he brings everywhere he goes. As best man and brother, he’s ready to make sure this day is unforgettable—for Brad, for the bride, and for everyone lucky enough to be there.

None other than Brad’s oldest brother, Jon—one of the best men standing proudly by his side. If you ever find yourself in a deep conversation about Twilight Imperium (that legendary, galaxy-spanning board game that can last longer than most marriages), you’ve definitely found Jon—he’s the resident expert and passionate evangelist. You’ll usually spot him with a Jack and Coke in hand, and once those flow freely enough, don’t be surprised to see him owning the dance floor with moves that somehow match his epic board-game energy. As the big brother who’s shared countless adventures and some epic game nights with Brad, Jon brings the perfect mix of wisdom, loyalty, and just the right amount of chaos to make sure this celebration is one for the ages.

Next up is Sean—one of Brad’s best friends, whose story with Brad goes all the way back to senior year of high school. They were seated next to each other in trigonometry, where Sean was 90% of the reason why Brad actually passed the class. (Apparently that was enough inspiration for Brad to think, “Engineering sounds like a great next step!”) They’ve been inseparable ever since—through high school shenanigans, college adventures, and everything in between. Sean is always game for a good time, and when the music starts, you’ll find him on the dance floor unleashing some truly legendary (and highly questionable) moves that never fail to get everyone smiling. Sean brings the laughs, the loyalty, and just the right amount of chaos to make sure the party keeps rolling all night long.
Jim Beck

Next up is Jim—one of Brad’s closest friends since freshman year of high school, and the guy who’s been there for Brad ever since. They’ve shared countless memories over the years, but Brad will never let Jim live down the day Halo 3 dropped: Jim, the only one with an Xbox wouldn’t even let him come over to watch him play. (Some things you just don’t forgive… or forget!) Jim is pure life-of-the-party energy. He’s the one who makes sure everyone around him is having an absolute blast—no exceptions. Whether it’s cracking jokes, or rallying the group, Jim’s got that rare gift for keeping the good times rolling. On wedding night, if things are getting lively, you’ll know exactly where to find him: right in the middle of it all, making sure no one misses out on the fun.

Brad and Michael first crossed paths thanks to fellow groomsman Jim, and the two clicked instantly. Michael has an extraordinary gift for keeping people laughing, no matter the circumstances. Back in their high school and college days, they were gym buddies, and Brad quickly learned he’d have to seriously up his game—there was no way he was going to let Michael keep out-lifting him. These days, one of their primary forms of communication consists of Michael firing off Instagram memes which Brad typically discovers and appreciates about three months later. If you’re looking for Michael at the wedding, chances are you’ll find him posted up at the bar, making sure everyone around him is cracking up and having the time of their life.

Brad’s cousin and one of the guys who’s been part of the family adventures for as long as anyone can remember. These two have racked up memories that include epic snowboarding trips, intense Guitar Hero battles, summer getaways to Eagle River, Wisconsin, late-night White Castle crave-case splits, and even Brad standing up in Matt’s wedding. Through all the laughs and chaos, Matt’s been a constant source of good times and loyalty. These days, he’s the proud dad of two beautiful kids—one of whom will be stealing the show as ring bearer. Come reception time, you’ll spot Matt on (or near) the dance floor, chasing his little ones around with that same infectious energy he’s always brought to every gathering. As family and friend, he’s here to make sure the celebration is filled with just as much joy as all those memories they’ve shared.
