As every love story starts with a first date, ice cream in a park in the middle of Manhattan. It was the kind of date only New Yorkers truly understand, complete with a local rat nearly jumping on Giselle. What we thought would last thirty minutes turned into almost three hours of easy conversation, laughter, and connection. By our second date, Giselle looked absolutely radiant, and I quickly realized there was something undeniably special about her. By our second date, Luciano had a few surprises to celebrate my late birthday, second date!!! He gave me the most wonderful night. He made me feel like a character in a romantic movie with a real prince. From there, our story unfolded across the city they love, countless subway rides, long walks, prayer time, shared meals, and moments that slowly but surely turned into something beautiful. Our dates were filled with simple joys: cleaning and more ice cream (of course), cozy dinners, peaceful parks, exciting sporting events, cooking together (though Giselle did 90% of it), and even country line dancing. With every moment, our love grew naturally, deeply, and effortlessly. It was clear to anyone who saw us that this was something rare, and it continues to grow stronger with each passing day. Luciano, why is Giselle the one? The answer is easy. She is my best friend—genuine, caring, kind-hearted, and the most beautiful person I know, inside and out. Her personality lights up every room, and she always seems to say and do exactly what’s right. She makes me a better man and keeps me grounded. Most importantly, her love for our Lord and her commitment to growing her relationship with our Father inspire me every day. She somehow finds new ways to love me more than I ever thought possible. With her by my side, there is nothing I can’t face or accomplish. Giselle is more than my dream girl; she is my answered prayer. I want to grow old with her and hear her accent get a little thicker when she scolds me for eating too much chocolate and dessert. Giselle, why is Luciano the one?
