Our love story began on April 1st, 2025, when we went on our first date. We went to Chikas Fresas in Liberal, KS, because I had been insisting that Jordan needed to try the best birria ramen ever. I developed two obsessions after this day: birria ramen and Jordan. This quickly turned into endless laughter, road trips, and many ice cream runs. Even on our first date, it felt very easy- like we’d known each other forever. Jordan and I enjoy playing video games, going on walks, trying new foods, and finding new things to do in the city together. Over the years, we built a relationship on love, jokes that only we find funny, our love for our dog Lily, and so many adventures. On August 26th, 2025, at 4 o’clock in the afternoon, Jordan randomly said Let’s take Lily on a walk at Scissortail Park. I was wearing sweats and a sweatshirt and said, “Okay, let me just put on my shoes,” but Jordan insisted that I needed to dress nicely. I quickly realized what was going on and did my makeup the fastest I’ve ever done it in my life. We went to Scissortail Park, one of our favorite spots in OKC, and Jordan got down on one knee in front of beautiful greenery and a body of water. This was the easiest yes of my life. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with all of you, surrounded by our favorite people.
