Our formal invitations will be sent out in July, though we assume that a lot of you will have already made travel arrangements by this time, and hopefully will have told us about them, because any time one of our loved ones books a flight, we get excited!! But in terms of the RSVP cards, we would love to receive them with your final confirmed guest count within a month of your date of receipt. If this number changes, just let us know as soon as possible!
This one all depends on you! Thanksgiving falls on the Thursday before our wedding, so we have some guests flying in early to celebrate the holiday there and expect a majority to arrive Friday or Saturday. We recommend a Friday arrival, as the sharp change in elevation's effect can be a struggle for some, and it is nice to have a day or two to acclimate before Sunday's celebration.
Transportation options are limited in Estes Park because of the size and isolation of the city. Our research has shown that there are a few Lyft/Uber drivers in the city but their availability will depend on their schedule, so service is not guaranteed. There is also a taxi service which can be arranged by telephone, but this again is subject to availability. We are currently researching a shuttle service to stop at a few places where guest concentration is highest, details on this will be announced as soon as we have them.
Of course! Your family is our family. We just ask you to include them in your final guest count, and to also consider that we won't be providing a special kids menu during the reception.
Definitely. We still are hammering out our catering menu, so there is plenty of time for adjustments. We are already considering lactose intolerant and gluten free guests. Just make sure to send us these allergy concerns as soon as possible.
