When and where is the wedding?

Our Nikkah ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 4:45 PM at the Worcester Islamic Center in Worcester, MA.

What is a Nikkah ceremony?

Answer

A Nikkah is the Islamic marriage ceremony, where we will exchange vows and officially be married in the presence of God, close family, and friends.

What should I wear?

Answer

Please dress modestly and respectfully, as the ceremony will be held in a mosque. Men and women will have separate seating areas during the Nikkah. The mosque kindly requests that women wear a headscarf, hijab, or similar covering as a sign of respect.

Will there be a reception?

Answer

We are planning a small gathering after the Nikkah, to take place in the lobby of the mosque. Snacks and beverages will be served and it will be a great time to mingle and chat with one another!

Where should I park?

The Worcester Islamic Center has ample free parking available on-site.

Answer
