We met through mutual friends in high school at just seventeen years old and clicked right away. It was funny because when Gio met my sisters, they felt like he seemed familiar. Low and behold Gio's aunt Linda actually went to high school with my eldest sister Michelle. Michelle had actually known Gio when he was only three years old. From then on we instantly became best friends, and eventually friendship led into dating our first year of college. The Proposal 12.24.2019 After nine years of dating, and growing up together, Gio felt that it was appropriate to finally propose. We had both finished school and achieved our careers. Gio being the traditional and respectful man he is, asked my mother and father of their blessing for my hand in marriage. He knew how important it was for my grandmother Mama to be apart of the proposal, so he made sure she knew ahead of time. He popped the question at eleven PM Christmas Eve in front of our family, including our beloved Mama. I kind of had an idea that he was going to propose because he was being so weird the whole week prior, but when that moment came I was totally caught off guard and surprised. It is with great joy that we share with you our special day. We can't wait to see you all in the D.R. to spend quality time, eat great food, dance to some bachata, and celebrate!
