In 2020 the world was a different place, COVID had shut everything down... Which made their story rather unique, they met by chance (Thanks Bumble!) and by far was greatest choice they have ever made. Just over a year into dating, they decided to take the next step and move in together — kicking off their adventure as a team. One month later, they added a new member to the family: little Thea. (Yes, things moved fast!) In 2022, they made the bold decision to pack up and move 1,000 miles south to Florida, where they became first-time homeowners and took on the challenge of building a life away from their hometowns. That leap of faith marked the beginning of real growth — as partners, friends, and now co-investors. The next two years were spent learning from each other and growing in love. On their 4th roadtrip back home to visit family in New Jersey, after listening to "Silverado for Sale" on repeat, (shoutout Morgan Wallen) Alex realized he didn't need to have all his ducks in a row to spend the rest of his life with Mia. After 4½ years of love, hikes, late-night talks, laughter, challenges, and unwavering partnership, Alex, Mia, Koko, and Thea took a walk through Mine Brook Park on a moody, rainy day on December 28th, 2024. And right there, in Alex’s hometown, with raindrops falling and hearts full, Alex proposed.
