The dress code is black tie, with tuxedos and bow ties for the gentlemen, and long gowns or elevated evening wear for the ladies.
Following the ceremony, please join us at The State Library for cocktails in the La Trobe Reading Room from 6:30pm, followed by dinner and dancing in the Ian Potter Queen’s Hall.
The State Library does not have on-site parking, but there is paid street parking on La Trobe Street and several nearby car parks, including Melbourne Central and QV. We recommend considering an Uber or taxi so you can relax and enjoy the night with us!
Your love and company are the greatest gifts of all. However, should you wish to help us celebrate with a present, a wishing well will be available at the reception. Alex said we’ll also accept euros, Indonesian rupiah, gold bullion, a Porsche, or a beach house on the Mornington Peninsula.
