In the fall of 2016, Julia and Matt both started a brand new chapter in their lives, set on a hill in the sleepy village of Granville, Ohio. A girl from Brecksville, Ohio, just two hours away, and a boy all the way from Dover, Massachusetts, both chose Denison University to call home for the next four years. Assigned to live in the same dorm and quickly immersed into the same circle of friends, Matt & Julia’s love story started before they even realized it. They became best friends and rocks to one another while navigating the whole new world that was college. While this time had its classic hills, valleys, and heartaches, the love Julia & Matt had for each other, their friendship the foundation, was immovable and always will be. Since the spring of 2019, their relationship has been a steady constant throughout every new chapter in their lives. From graduating (virtually), to starting their first jobs, moving to Boston (first Julia, then Matt), to moving into their first apartment together, to getting engaged at their favorite place to getaway, York Beach, Maine, and now, to getting married near Julia’s hometown and underneath the familiar trees that decorated the opening scenes of their love story.
