What is the name of the airport where you should arrive?

Palonegro International Airport (BGA) in Bucaramanga, Colombia. Bogota, El Dorado International Airport (BOG), is the most common port of arrival, however, there are other layover options such as Cartagena, Medellin, and Panama City that fly direclty to Bucarmanga. Spirit Airlines offers flights from Ft. Lauderdale direclty to Bucaramanga (Palonegro BGA) airport. Note that, these flights are normally only available a month out and are currently only running on Monday's, Wednesdays, and Friday's. Please, take a look at the Spirit Airlines website for further details. In addition, we will be happy to assist you with the logistics of your arrival, we will give you clear instructions or, if you wish we will help you hire a driver.

How would you get around?

Bucaramanga is relatively a small city. For your convenience, we have highlighted some hotels you may consider during your stay in Bucaramanga. You can head over there by clicking on the Hospitality tab. We believe that all three hotels highlighted in the Hospitality are conveniently located near restaurants and stores! You can also use AirBnB. Some locations to consider are Cabecera del llano or El Prado. Both locations are located in safe areas, but Cabecera is more busy and has more options of restaurants, stores and malls. To get around the city - of course, there will be a gazillion taxis, however we know that it can be intimidating, so you can use the Uber or the app called Indrive for convenience. To get to the wedding - we will be happy to help you hire a private transportation service, especially because the location of the wedding is right on the outskirts of the city and on a mountain. Alternatively, if you feel courages , you can rent a car, although it can be challenging, it can also be a great experience, especially in a city with more than 1,000,000 motorcycles!
