Gio and Lily can still remember the day in which they first crossed paths, and that day isn't so hard to remember because it is Lily's birthday! On that eventful day, both Gio and Lily had plans to go see Mana in concert. Due to some mix-ups, Gio did not have a seat with the group and was going to be forced to sit alone during the concert. Lily could not stand for leaving such a handsome man alone! She offered for him to stand next to her during the concert and boy did he accept!

Many might ask why? why did you guys fly all the way out to New York to propose? To give some back story, Lily's favorite movie is called Serendipity which is about a couple who against all odds fall in love with each other, based in New York City and where the couple meet is in a ice cream shop called Serendipity. Ever since Lily visited the real life location Serendipity in New York for the first time, it became a dream for her to be proposed in that exact spot. Little did she knew, Gio was going to fulfill that dream of hers.
