Q & A

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be a formal evening celebration. For gentlemen, suits or tuxedos with dress shoes are perfect. For ladies, an evening gown is ideal; a tea-length dress is also appropriate. Elevated cocktail or midi dresses, or a formal pant suit, are also welcome.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We kindly request an adults-only celebration so that all guests may relax and enjoy the evening.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1, 2026.

Question

Where to park for the Ceremony?

Answer

Parking is available in the yard, where there is a handicapped ramp leading to church. There is also parking on the street surrounding church and in the bank parking lot across the street during non-banking hours, but please do not park in the ATM line.

Question

Where to park for the Reception?

Answer

Parking is not provided at the reception venue. If you're not staying within walking distance, we recommend using a ride share or parking in a nearby garage. Some convenient options include: • Pere Marquette Garage at 817 Common St • AirGarage at 166 Roosevelt Way • UniPark Garage at 145 Roosevelt Way • Clarke Garage at 930 Gravier St

Question

Accommodations & Safety

Answer

While we hope everyone enjoys a wonderful evening, your safety is very important to us. We encourage guests to stay overnight in the city, and we have arranged room blocks at nearby hotels for your convenience.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos/videos during the ceremony.

Question

Can I take my shoes off to dance?

Answer

Unfortunately no, the venue does not allow bare feet. Feel free to bring a comfortable pair!
