Oscar and Ginny met in 2021 in the most modern way—on Hinge. While their connection was immediate, the timing took a little patience. When Oscar suggested a first date on Valentine’s Day, Ginny hesitated and said no. A week later, on a snowy afternoon at Carabello Coffee, they finally met—and everything changed. Their early dates were full of learning and laughter, including one memorable evening when Ginny arrived an hour late to dinner, leaving Oscar convinced he had been stood up. Thankfully, she walked through the door, and from that moment on, they both knew this story was far from over. As time passed, their relationship grew through simple, meaningful moments—long walks through parks, exploring Cincinnati together, and sharing countless dinners and conversations. Somewhere along the way, they realized that life felt better, easier, and more complete together. Oscar stood proudly by Ginny as she graduated from undergrad and encouraged her every step through her master’s program. Ginny, in turn, supported Oscar as he pursued and achieved success in his career at FEAM at CVG. They learned how to be each other’s constant—celebrating milestones, navigating change, and growing side by side. In the spring of 2024, when Oscar accepted an opportunity with Boeing, they made the decision together to begin a new chapter in Charleston, South Carolina. They decided Oscar would move first, and then once she was fully finished with school, Ginny would join Oscar in September. The morning after arriving to their new home, as the sun rose over Folly Beach, Oscar asked Ginny to spend forever with him—surrounded by their immediate family (and of course, Remy). Their life in Charleston has been nothing short of a blessing, and they are deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and support that have surrounded them along the way. Thank you for traveling to their new hometown to celebrate their marriage. Cheers to safe travels, full hearts, and two becoming one—joined together by God’s grace and love.
