We went here on our first date! This is one of our favorite cocktail bars in Seattle - make a reservation, or put your name down and grab some nigiri at Umi next door while you wait.
Stampede is a vibrant and quirky bar in Fremont - and one of the best! Their drink menu changes every quarter, but their dumplings are forever (and are excellent).
Our favorite neighborhood restaurant. Cornelly's pizzas, pastas, starters, meats and desserts are all truly excellent. Their menu changes seasonally, but some evergreen favorites of ours: the Gnocco Frito, Tonnarelli pasta, Classic Pep pizza, and a bottle of red.
A truly beloved neighborhood spot that serves Mediterranean and Middle Eastern-inspired food. Homer is walk in only, except for a small amount of reservations for tables of six. We would recommend getting there when they open, or be ready to put your name down and grab a drink next door either at the Coupe and Flute or Little Thing wine bar.
If you're looking to splurge a bit, we recommend Spinasse. This Seattle staple is popular for a reason: hand-made pastas in house, a curated Italian wine list, and a very cozy vibe. We've never met a Spinasse dish we didn't like (make a reservation well in advance!).
A truly excellent wine bar in downtown Seattle, Le Caviste has an incredible wine selection and very, very tasty food.
Just up the road from Alderbrook is Hook & Fork, a casual but beautiful restaurant on the water. Serving seasonal seafood and American fare, this is a great option if you're looking to explore a bit of the Hood Canal.
