Things To Do/Dining

The Wedding Website of Gina Balestrieri and Paul D'Anneo
While we are honored to have our friends and family travel hundreds of miles to celebrate our wedding, we are confident that you will love Newport! Activities: 1) Walk around downtown! Thames Street has MANY amazing stores and restaurants. Check out any or all of the wharfs or marinas! 2) Visit Ochre Point Ave (Salve Regina's campus) and walk the famous cliff walk overlooking the ocean! You will also hit The Breakers on this walk. 3) Speaking of the Breakers, tour ANY of the mansions! (Marble House, Rosecliff, and The Elms) 4) Have a beach day! Visit First Beach, Second Beach, Third Beach, or our favorite- Rejects Beach. 5) Take the most scenic drive ever on Ocean Avenue, which will then lead you to Castle Hill Inn where you can enjoy cocktails on an Adirondack chair right on the water. Highly recommend going to watch the sunset! 6) Tennis Hall of Fame 7) Sip on some vino at the Newport Vineyards 8) Trolley tour 9) Sunset sail 10) Day trip to Block Island
