Things To Do
River Walk Trail
Watch out for geese this time of year. This is an awesome walk where you can explore two parks on either side of the St. Joseph River. Pedestrian bridge pictured above. During the summer, we go to the farmer's market here every Sunday. This year's first market will be May 31st from 10am-2pm!
South Bend Farmer's Market
Open every Saturday 7am-3pm! Lots of delicious food and wares. We bought our wedding rings here from local vendors.
Crooked Ewe Brewery & Ale House
Great brewery with a typical brewpub menu. We eat here pretty often! On a nice day, we love when the patio is open.
Nom Nom Pho
Delicious food! Wait times can be a bit longer than you'd expect but it's always worth the wait. Especially if you like Vietnamese style food.
Bowl of Pho
Of course, another pho place. This is a super casual strip mall restaurant with the best vegan pho.
Pinellia Asian Restaurant
The only all vegan restaurant in the area! Her food is fantastic. It's a great place for take out not so much a dine in spot.
The Lauber
All kinds of tasty food and drinks! Their pizza and salads are especially good.
Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library - Downtown
We have to mention our library! Open Friday from 9-5 and Saturday from 9-4. *This is not where Gina works.
Cambodian Thai
Brand new location for one of Gina's favorite spots. She always gets the green curry with added pea pods.
Cloud Walking Cafe & Lounge
Great cafe for coffee, tea, and all kinds of morning beverages. They have a delicious small plates menu that changes often.
Jesús Latin Grill & Tequila Bar
We haven't been here but the building is cool and people like it! For omnivores only.
Langlab
We like to go to shows here and the High Street Station sells cool pieces from local artists. Their food and drinks are pretty good too! This building is an old warehouse turned art studios/coworking/event venue space.
