"The best kind of love starts with an unexpected "hello." That is true to how Mason and I first met on an autumn night while we both spent time with our close friends. Despite Karissa's intuition about the connection Mason and I shared that evening, it wasn't until November 8, 2015 that we enjoyed each other's company on our first dinner date. With the following dates, we began to realize that what we were feeling, what we had, could become something amazing in both our futures.

A beautiful weekend away in Burlington, Vermont to celebrate the last weekend of summer vacation became a beautiful, memorable weekend celebrating our relationship and the love we both share. While enjoying the August sunset swinging on a bench at the Waterfront Park watching the sailboats gracefully float along Lake Champlain, Mason surprised me by getting down on one knee, asking me to marry him. Between the tears, I said "YES" as he placed a stunning Tolkowsky ring on my left-hand finger. We are both so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!
