The Perfect Storm

July 13, 2020

The year the world sat still; these two love birds flew into each other's arms. Jeremy and Gina both swiped right on Tinder, within moments of the "Match" they were talking. The conversation went so well they decided to meet that night at a local place by Gina's Mom's house as neutral ground. The two were so excited to finally get out and socialize since the lockdown. Jeremy walked across the street to greet Gina and accidently stepped on her foot. They laughed it off, but we all know he was stunned by her beauty. Gina was a little taken aback by Jeremy because he seemed to be rambling on, which she is used to doing. After 30 mins into the dinner, Gina realized Jeremy was extremely nervous and with the help of his good friend Makers, he loosened up. They learned that they shared many common interests like Camaros and Bob Marley. The two were smitten! The one date quickly turned into a trip to the casino followed by Jeremy asking Gina if she wanted to stay at his place while her house got remodeled. She was hesitant but decided why not? Jeremy explained to Gina that he ran his own business as an insurance adjuster. It was a hot July and that meant he would have to leave her soon for work. Jeremy didn't hesitate to ask if she wanted to be his Operations Manager and come along side him for the journey. With hardly any convincing these two were off to Hidalgo, Texas chasing their very first storm less than a month into dating. Since that storm they have worked through 4 storms and 1 hurricane Ida together. I guess you could say this became the perfect storm. Jeremy took Gina for a romantic one year anniversary date to the Aquarium for private interaction with Mr. Nelson the Otter. A stroll around the beautiful botanical gardens in Fort Worth , dinner at Joe T. Garcias and then a night stroll along the Seventh Street Bridge where he asked Gina to be his forever. She said YES!
