FAQs

Please be sure to read our FAQ! If you have any other questions feel free to reach out to Gina and Eric.
Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception are taking place at Bridgeport Art Center (1200 W 35th St).

Question

Where do we go after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, Eric and Gina will be taking photos. We encourage our guests to stick around to enjoy cocktails and appetizers before the reception.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

We will be providing shuttle transport from our hotels (The Thompson and Claridge House) to the wedding venue before and after the festivities.

Question

Where can guests park?

Answer

Guests can park at the lot across from The Bridgeport Art Center for free.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Our dress code is formal. Our wedding has an Old Hollywood theme and while that is not part of the dress code, we certainly encourage keeping that in mind!

Question

What should I do if I cannot attend the wedding?

Answer

While we will miss having your company on our big day, please let us know ahead of time by RSVPing "no" when you receive your invitation. Please reach out to us so we can find a time to celebrate over dinner as well!

Question

What is the weather in Chicago like in October?

Answer

In early October the weather is fairly mild. Temperatures range from the 80s to the 60s. It can rain during this time of year as well so bring an umbrella!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please check your invitation for your plus one status. For any questions, you can reach out to Gina.

Question

Will dinner be provided at the reception? Will there be Vegetarian/Vegan options?

Answer

Yes, you will be able to make your dinner selection via your RSVP. We will be including vegetarian options.

Question

Can we take pictures of the ceremony and reception to post online?

Answer

We ask that you do not take pictures during the ceremony, so that our photographer can get the best shots possible. Please feel free to take pictures during the rest of the celebration and include our hashtag #ToBoleagaAndBeyond
