Denver International Airport is the closest airport to Grand Lake, Colorado. The airport is approximately a 2 1/2 hour drive to Grand Lake. Due to the distance between Denver and Grand Lake, a rental car is likely going to be a must. We promise the beauty of Grand Lake and the Rocky Mountains is worth the drive and we are so grateful you are taking time out of your lives to share in our day!

Meadowview Mountain Lodge aka THE WEDDING HOUSE!

For those of you we were able to have stay with us in the wedding cabin (we wish we had room for everyone!) expect a huge, private cabin on 30 acres in the rocky mountains! This is not only where the bride and groom are staying all weekend but we are also going to get married and have our reception here! The Wedding house has loads of amenities including: Big projector screen and lots of movies 10 adult bikes for biking around the property private pond stocked with fish and fishing poles canoe and paddle boat Tons of games and toys two kitchens and plenty of pots/pans and appliances to use big fire pit for roasting marshmallows Play pool, shuffleboard, air hockey, ping pong and foosball Lots of room to run around the property and explore (look out for moose and elk!) Steam room on the lower level (you might want to bring your bathing suits)

Grand Lake Lodge Hotel

Although we have never stayed here, I was personally given Grand Lake Lodge as an excellent recommendation! This hotel has a pool, a great restaurant and more!

Consider searching for a rental house right on Sun Valley Lake! Sun Valley Lake is super close to us and looks awesome!
