FAQs

Question

Should we plan for a family event or date night?

Answer

We love your kids — almost as much as we love open bars and late-night dance floors! Your presence means the world to us! To keep the evening intimate and relaxed, our celebration will be for adults only.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding weekend?

Answer

While our wedding is not black tie, we’d love to see our guests dressed to the nines! Formal attire (think long gowns and dark suits with ties) is perfect for the evening. February in Colorado can be brisk, so a stylish coat or wrap will keep you warm while still looking sharp. For the Welcome event, we suggest chic or polished evening attire (For women we suggest dresses, skirts with a nice blouse or sweater, tailored pants with a dressy top, or jumpsuit. For men we suggest chinos or tailored pants with a button-down or collared shirt, blazer or sport coat optional).

Question

Will there be a shuttle to the venue?

Answer

Yes, we will have shuttles running from The Eddy and The Golden Hotel to and from The Manor House. Additionally, there is free parking onsite at the venue. Ubers and Lyfts are an option to get to the venue, but likely not a reliable way home, so please plan accordingly. Shuttle buses will be picking up guests from both The Eddy and The Golden Hotel between 2:45–3:00 PM. Please note the shuttles will make just one trip, so if you miss the bus, you’ll need to arrange your own transportation (car or rideshare). We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Where are the buses picking up and what time are they dropping back off?

Answer

Shuttle buses will be picking up guests from both The Eddy and The Golden Hotel between 2:45–3:00 PM. Please note the shuttles will make just one trip, so if you miss the bus, you’ll need to arrange your own transportation (car or rideshare). For transportation back to the hotels, there will be two shuttle options. The first will depart the venue at 9:30 PM, and the second will leave at 10:30 PM after the reception ends. Choose whichever timing works best for you! We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

How can I acclimate to altitude?

Answer

We can’t wait to celebrate with you in the gorgeous Colorado mountains! One thing to keep in mind: we’ll be partying a little closer to the clouds than usual. The higher altitude means less oxygen, which can make you feel a bit winded, extra thirsty, or in need of an early bedtime—don’t worry, it’s totally normal. A few tips so you can dance the night away: - Start hydrating before you arrive (your future self will thank you). - Take it easy on the cocktails and coffee your first day here. - Rest up and don’t overdo the hiking or skiing right away. - Chat with your doctor if you’ve had altitude issues before. With a little prep, you’ll be ready to toast, dance, and celebrate at full altitude!

Question

Is there a wedding event on Saturday 2/28?

Answer

We don’t have any formal plans for Saturday (2/28), but we’ll likely gather somewhere for lunch or check out a nearby brewery with anyone who’s still in town. If you’re looking for ideas on things to do, we’re always happy to share recommendations — just ask!
