Brandon and I met through marching band at Dakota High School and really got to know each other at band camp. We became best friends and our first date was two years later on 7.10.18.

Five years later on a Sunday, we went to church. We then went out to lunch with my parents, brother and his girlfriend (now fiancé) at cabana blue. We then listened to disney music the whole drive back to the cottage. Once we arrived, Brandon told me that the family had a surprise for me. He blindfolded me and we started walking out to the dock. Once we made it to the dock, he took the blindfold off. There were rose pedals all over the dock and candles lining the sides. At the end of the dock, there was an arch that was decorated with greenery and the letters "G&B." He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said YES! 💍
