It all started in December 2018 at The Brass Monkey (iykyk). Gina was visiting NYC when their mutual friend Coleman brought his friend Ben along - and the rest is history. Well, almost. Ben was taken. Moving on. Fast forward to 2019 - Gina moved to NYC and they reconnected through mutual friends. Ben was grinding at his banking job while Gina was at happy hour at The Gem. Ships passing in the night. Then COVID hit. Gina returned to the city in July 2020 and Ben expressed his interest - but he was moving to Boston for a new job. Gina wanted nothing to do with long distance. Ben had other plans. He made the NYC trip weekend after weekend to visit his "friends." Sure, Ben. His persistence paid off and they started dating in November 2020. Ben moved back to NYC in May 2023. Gina thought it would be a good idea for him to get his own apartment (bad idea). He slept there twice, broke the lease, and moved in. They've been living their best life in Williamsburg ever since!
