The Rochester International Airport is easiest, but will absolutely require a flight transfer coming from larger cities because it's so small. If you prefer a direct flight and don't mind a drive, I suggest Buffalo Airport. The drive is about 1 hour and a small toll (less than $5) on the interstate to Rochester and you can grab some REAL buffalo wings for lunch in Buffalo while you're there.
Our ceremony starts at 4pm at Cobblestone Wedding Barn. There will be a reception to follow at the same location. 5015 River Rd, Scottsville, NY 14546
Yes! There will be school-bus shuttles leaving from the Hilton Double Tree Inn (our hotel block) between 3 and 3:30 to go to the venue. They will also be bringing everyone back between 10 and 11pm at the end!
We'd love if the kids could stay at home for the night - there will be an open bar and loud, potentially explicit lyrics when the dance floor gets going! That said, we understand that might not be possible for those traveling and those with young children. Please reach out to us directly at our wedding email - GinaCalledTibbs@gmail.com - and let us know if this is the case and we will accommodate! We would rather have you come with your kiddo than miss out completely.
As I'm writing this answer, we are in a current outbreak with Omicron. Keeping in mind we obviously cannot predict what will happen in the months, weeks and days leading up to our special day - we would like to set expectations early. We are asking all guests to either submit their vaccine card OR have a negative Covid test in Rochester within two days of the wedding. Tests or proof of vaccine can be sent to GinaCalledTibbs@gmail.com. Need to talk about this? More than happy to discuss. Things are constantly evolving and we simply want this to be a safe and joyful celebration for all our closest loved ones.
Cocktail attire is best for this setting.
