Question

Do you have any hotel accommodations?

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved room blocks at select hotels for your convenience. Due to a large convention in town that weekend, hotel availability throughout the city is limited and prices outside of our room blocks are expected to be significantly higher. We have a limited number of hotel rooms available in our room blocks, and they are expected to book quickly. We strongly recommend reserving your room as soon as possible to secure the discounted rate.

Is there transportation?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing shuttle transportation to and from the ceremony and reception for guests staying at the hotels in our room blocks. Shuttles will depart from both the Sable Hotel and the Marriott Mag Mile Hotel at 2:15 PM to take guests to the ceremony at St. Michael Church in Old Town. Shuttles will depart from the Marriott Mag Mile Hotel at 5:30 PM to take guests to Offshore Rooftop for the reception. Following the ceremony, transportation will be provided to Navy Pier. Guests will be dropped off at the Sable Hotel, where you are welcome to enjoy a drink at Lirica Restaurant or explore Navy Pier before walking over to Offshore Rooftop for cocktail hour. Offshore is a short indoor walk from the hotel.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving by 2:45 PM to allow time for seating and to ensure you are settled in before the ceremony begins promptly at 3:00 PM.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony (St. Michael Church) The parking lot for St. Michael Church in Old Town is located at the intersection of Cleveland and Eugenie Streets. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that street parking around the church is limited, so we recommend allowing extra time to find a spot. If the church lot is full, a public parking garage is available at Piper’s Alley (230 W. North Ave), about a 7-minute walk to the church. Reception (Offshore Rooftop at Navy Pier) Valet parking will be available at The Sable Hotel driveway (900 E. Grand Ave.), which is directly connected to Offshore Rooftop (1000 E. Grand Ave.). The cost is $60 per car. Please tell valet staff you are here for the Falato/Thomas Wedding.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our guests get dressed up with us! We are requesting a black tie optional dress code for our wedding. Tuxedos and elegant suits are welcome, and we would love to see women in formal dresses. Most importantly, wear what makes you feel your best and ready to celebrate with us!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we can only accommodate the number of guests we have already accounted for. If your guest's name is listed on your invitation, then yes! Thank you for understanding.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be indoors. Weather permitting, our cocktail hour will be held outside on the rooftop terrace to enjoy the city views!
