We met at the bowling alley when my boss brought her single friend to team bowling night. He didn't say a word to me then.. or at the next bowling night he came to a month later. We finally connected over Facebook, but I told him I wanted to just be friends. Well, we hung out as friends... and then never stopped. We feel so blessed to have a solid foundation built on falling in love as friends first.

The first road trip we ever took together was to Park City on New Year's Eve, and we stopped at the rest stop in Echo Canyon, which has walkways out to a beautiful outlook over the canyon and railroad tracks. It was there that we took one of our first official photos as a couple. On Nov. 13, 2019, on a trip to Salt Lake City, we found ourselves back at that rest stop on a gorgeous, sunny, and rather unexpected day for the middle of November. That was where Cody dropped down on one knee and asked me to be his partner in crime forever! He left me speechless, and all I could do was cry. I didn't actually tell him YES until hours later!
