As two Mechanical Engineers at Virginia Tech we ran in similar circles, but we became much closer on our Senior Design Team. After many long nights in the library, morning walks around campus, and impromptu hammocking at the Duck Pond we began dating in April of 2020. The next chapter of our journey involved over 2 years of long distance dating with monthly flights to and from Denver, CO and Northern VA. After Michael got his fill of climbing 14ers and drinking craft beer, he packed up his belongings and moved to Northern Virginia! Having lived together for over a year and taken many incredible trips around the globe (Italy, Saint Lucia, Jamaica, and Mexico) it was a trip to Punta Cana, DR that had Michael down on one knee and Dana saying YES! We are so thankful for everyone who has been a part of our story and cannot wait to celebrate our love on 5/30/2026!
