San Francisco International Airport

SFO is the nearest and most convenient airport. To get to the City, catch a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) train at the International Terminal, then catch a Muni bus to your destination. Uber/Lyft cars are also numerous and relatively inexpensive. Oakland Airport is an option, and is also served by BART. San Jose Airport is much farther away, but an airport-to-airport shuttle is available to SFO, then you can take BART into the City.

Most hotels in San Francisco are located in the downtown Civic Center/Union Square area. These hotels are conveniently located close to Grace Cathedral, where our ceremony will be held, but not so close to the San Francisco County Fair building, where our reception will be held. Downtown hotels are usually quite expensive. If you wish to stay somewhere more central or in one of the many beautiful residential neighborhoods of San Francisco, we definitely recommend using a short-term rental website such as airbnb.com, vrbo.com or homeaway.com. Note that our wedding is on the busy July 4th long weekend, so book your accommodations early! The cheapest hotels are definitely located near and around SFO, if you don't mind a 25 minute Uber/Lyft ride to the City.
