We're getting married!

Following a Summer of movie nights, bummed rides, and Starbucks runs, Katie and Nick were crushing on each other pretty hard. Nick decided to take action. That morning, after the not-so-subtle-hint from her best friend that Nick would ask Katie out, she walked through the halls of Clear Falls High School wearing her cutest dress. When she turned the corner to go upstairs, Nick was standing with white roses in hand and dressed in his finest tuxedo t-shirt. It was then that he asked her to be his girlfriend, and eight years later, he would ask her to be his wife.

Few people decide to camp at Disney World, but during March of 2020, Katie and Nick set up their tent in an unnaturally mosquito-free campground abundant with tame turkeys, squirrels, and rabbits. After decorating their campsite with romantic fairy lights, Nick called Katie into the tent. “Hey Katie, I have something to show you!” Katie reluctantly agreed. “OK, but then we need to go. I have a lot of exploring planned for us tonight.” In the tent, Nick was down on one knee, presenting a diamond ring. "Katie, I love you. I love going on adventures with you, and I want to keep going on adventures with you for the rest of our lives. Will you marry me?" Katie, after falling over and giggling with happiness, finally managing to say, “YES!”
