Jessica & Anthony

Wedding Party

Hailey Harrington

Maid of Honor

Jessica and I met in high school and have shared a beautiful friendship going on a strong 13 years. Jessica is usually the one who talks everyone off the edge, but I've had the pleasure of being her voice of reason when needed. Jessica and I share the same loving heart and sarcasm - which works for all parties involved. She is such a beautiful soul and to know her is to love her, truly. The best part of our friendship is that we can be miles away from one another and pick up like it was just yesterday of seeing one another. She is my forever friend, my person. We've stood with each other through many life events and I can't wait to stand with her on another major life event, her wedding day! I wish Anthony & Jessica the best life can offer - I love you two lovebirds!!💕

Best Man

So I wrote a little rhyme to tell you about the time in the halls of McNary I met this guy Anthony we were up at Oregon State some say it may have been fate we would bond over bikes sing Micky Avalon and the likes some strangers would even think we were brothers but we don't share a mother... so here's to ten years of fun and many more with your plus one

Black Friday 2015. It was my first day working at Lululemon & I had found salvation folding pants until this little brunette terror coldly told me, "if you don't fold the pants right, someone else will have to redo it." I was mortified & told a friend that Jessica Gilmour was a stone cold brat. Little did I know, a few weeks later that friend spilled the beans to Jess about my proclamation. Miss Ice Princess slid up to me with a sweet smile & said, "so, I heard you think I'm a brat." I was mortified. Suddenly, she started laughing, I started laughing (uncomfortably) & from there, a beautiful friendship blossomed. As it turned out, the "Ice Princess" actually had the warmest heart & a sharp wit that cracked like a whip. From that point on, nothing could keep me from being her friend.

I met Anthony freshman year in the dorms at Oregon State University. I had no idea what I was getting into back then. Anthony was always the center of attention, whether it was a wild night out or a late night study session in the library. Four years later we decided to be roommates with three of our other friends and made some of the est memories of our lives. Now I get the pleasure of standing up next to him as an 'adult' and watching him take the next step into marriage. I am looking forward to watching him handle the married life!

One day at work, I was covering a lunch break In the fitting room. A brown haired lady turned the corner, and she was dressed in a “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” style dress. My first thought: how absolutely adorable is this woman! During her time in the fitting room we discovered that the two of us grew up dancing. After a few laughs, we exchanged numbers. Jessica was simply a guest that day, I was simply covering someone’s break. Little did I know that there was nothing simple about moment. The interaction I had with Jessica that day, eventually led to a wonderful friendship. Even though we’ve only danced one time together, we have shared moments that have gone beyond a dance studio.

Groomsman

Anthony and Anthony (Goryl and AP) first met as members of the Delta Chi Fraternity at Oregon State University. They quickly bonded while taking engineering classes together and being the favorite class clowns of their beloved Physics professor. Similar interests, such as traveling to the Middle East together, golf, fishing, hitting the ski slopes, and complaining about the perils of working in the engineering world, have kept them close since college. They continue to go on adventures and always remember their motto from their days in physics class..."Plug it!"

Olivia Arruda

Bridesmaid

I have known Anthony since high and it has been amazing getting to know Jessica from the very beginning of their relationship. Anthony and my husband, Matt, have developed a deep bond for one another. Jess and I have developed an amazingly goofy bond, talking about the love these two guys have for one another. One day, while we were all hanging out, Matt said, "You know Jess, I just want to warn you that one of these days Goryl and I are going to profess our love for each other and start our lives together. Will you be okay with me taking Goryl from you?" Jess replied, "Go for it- I then get Olivia, so I'll definitely have the better end of this situation!" I truly cherish my moments and experiences with Jessica and Anthony and can't wait for their amazingly special day!

Anthony and I met a few years back through my wife, Olivia, who has known him since high school. Little did she know, Anthony and I would end up spending as much time fishing together as humanly possible in the preceding years. The story of Anthony getting into fly fishing goes something like this: Give Anthony a fish and he eats for a day, teach Anthony to fly fish and he buys all of the tools and materials and undergoes all of the psychological changes- now he can’t go 5 minutes without thinking about fishing ( sorry Jess). I feel damn lucky to have a friend and fishing buddy like Anthony. I’m excited to see these two move onto the next chapter of their lives, as long as Jess doesn’t find out how much Anthony has really spent on fly fishing gear.

Bridesmaid

Sometime in 2015, a very pink, very sparkly girl walked into lululemon for her first day at the store. We couldn't have been more different. She liked dancing, monograms, and PaceSetter skirts and I... didn't. Despite the odds, we quickly became very close friends. Not too long after, Anthony entered the picture. Pretty early on, Jess started joking about how similar Anthony and I are. I've tried my hardest to deny it, but after years of being friends with the two of them, I've come to accept that Anthony and I really are the only two laughing at each other's stupid jokes. But you know what Jess, I'll keep laughing at his jokes for you and you keep loving both of us.

Somehow it just clicked with you, bro. From the first days we met at OSU, to the adventures around the Bay Area, it's great to have a friend that will follow through with not only the little plans, but the big ones, as well. Too many great memories and many more with you and Jess. I'll bring the champagne.

Hillary Tomas

Bridesmaid

Jessy and I have known each other since second grade, when she first moved to Moraga and started school at Camino Pablo. We played on many teams together, where we learned what it takes to win, how to get up after a loss, how to be a leader and what it means to be part of a family. All of the lessons we learned from volleyball and softball helped solidify our friendship over these many years and it has also given us plenty of memories to still laugh about. Jessy has been one of my best friends for the majority of my life, and I am so excited for her and Anthony to begin the next chapter of their lives together.

Groomsman

Anthony and I became friends arguing about engineering problems over a beer between classes at the Oregon State Spring Term haven - Brew Station. Being from the same neighborhood in California, we realize the beer and the engineering were not the only things we have in common. Over the next several years we enjoyed countless eventful weekends and somehow graduated together in 2013. Although we now live 2,000 miles away, we still find time to catch up right where we left off ever time we see each other. Just like college wouldn't have been the same without Anthony's questionable answers to engineering problems, no trip home to Moraga is complete without a beer with my good buddy Goryl. Go Beavs.
