FAQs

The Wedding Website of Rebecca Gillis and Jack Durkin
Question

How do I get there?

Answer

All events will take place at Elm Bank: 900 Washington Street, Wellesley, Massachusetts. Upon entering the property, continue down the road all the way past the soccer fields and Lots A and B until you arrive at the parking lot for the Garden at Elm Bank. Please note that the bridge to enter the Elm Bank Reservation has a 12-ton (24,000 lbs) weight restriction. Vehicles cannot exceed this weight limit, and there is not an alternate route into the property. If you are planning to arrive via group transportation, please ensure your vehicle is underweight; otherwise, you will need to be dropped off at the bridge and walk from there.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We suggest arriving at the venue around 5:00 p.m. to ensure ample time to park and find the ceremony area, as our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m.

Question

Will parking be available?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available at the venue.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We recommend formal attire. Please note that, barring inclement weather, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to the capacity of our venue, we are only able to accommodate those guests named on invitations. Our wedding will be adults-only, with limited exceptions for immediate family.

Question

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible and can also offer transportation via golf cart for any guests who may need assistance making their way from the ceremony to the reception location.
