Is the wedding still happening or will it be postponed due to Covid?

Answer

We are getting married on October 31, 2020 no matter what, Covid or no Covid.

What type of wedding/reception will it be?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be outside. At the moment the reception will be inside.

Can I wear a Halloween costume?

Answer

Of course! Halloween is our favourite holiday & we encourage costumes!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In the past, Halloween weather changes dramatically... 90° to 45°, hurricanes, etc. Download the WECT news weather app for the most accurate info.

How close is the venue to the hotel?

Answer

The Holiday Inn Express is 7.1 miles (11 minutes) from The Barn at Rock Creek. There will be a shuttle going back & forth, starting 1 hour prior to the event and up to 1 hour after the event. The Barn is on a small back road, so we highly recommend utilizing the shuttle.

Question

My RSVP has a date of 9/15/20, but I just got it today. What should I do?

Answer

Please mail back the RSVP as soon as you can, just disregard the respond by date. The invitations were made pre-covid and we had to wait to mail them until we received word from The Barn what the final headcount was.

I received a Save the Date but didn't receive an Invitation. Am I still invited?

Answer

Excellent question! Unfortunately, we had to reduce our guest list by half due to Covid regulations and The Barn. This gives us the difficult decision of changing our list. Our priority is our family and slowly adding friends as space becomes available. We appreciate you understanding during this difficult & unusual time.

Do I need to wear or bring a mask?

Answer

NC Mandates "People must wear face coverings when in public places, indoor or outdoor, where physical distancing of six (6) feet from other people who are not members of the same householud or residence is not possbible" We will try to be in compliance with this as much as humanly possible. We will be providing masks, but recommend to bring your own. We thank you for your patience and understanding during these complicated times.
