Città della Pieve

Castiglione del Lago
Only 15 minutes from Borgo Siliano is Castiglione del Lago - a historical village on Lake Trasimeno. Here you can explore Rocca del Leone, also known as the "Lion's Fortress." It was built in 1247 and has stunning views of the lake. You can enjoy the lake and also wander the Centro storico (historic center) after.
Montepulciano
If you want to make a bit longer of a drive, around 40 minutes from Borgo Siliano, you will find the hilltop town of Montepulciano. Wander down main street, "Il Corso", and then stumble upon Piazza Grande in the heart of town.
