What time does everything start?

Answer

Ceremony: Please arrive by 1:45 pm to account for traffic and parking so we can start promptly at 2:00 pm. The address of St. Thomas Aquinas is 1719 Post Road in Fairfield. Reception: Cocktail Hour is 5-6 pm inside the Burr Homestead and out front. Dinner and dancing will take place 6-10 pm in the tent out back. The address for the Burr Homestead is 739 Old Post Road in Fairfield.

Where can I park?

Answer

Ceremony: St. Thomas has a parking lot behind the church, which you can enter from Ruane Street. You can enter the church from either the doors off the parking lot or the front entrance on Post Road. Reception: You may park for free on Old Post Road in front of the Burr Homestead or in the Independence Hall parking lot at 725 Old Post Road. You may NOT park on Penfield Road without a 2026 Fairfield beach sticker.

What is the suggested attire?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, suits or dark jackets and slacks.

What can I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

You will have about two hours between the end of the ceremony and the start of Cocktail Hour. You may travel to and from the hotel (approx. 25 minutes from the church and reception), enjoy walking around downtown Fairfield, or stop by one of Fairfield's beaches!
