We met right near the end of our junior year at the University of Minnesota. Both of us had been invited to interview for a spot on the 2019 Homecoming Court. Luckily, we were scheduled to interview at the same time. We both remember leaving that interview and innocently telling our friends about each other, and found out shortly after we got to be two of the ten Homecoming Royals! Our senior year started with doing all sorts of fun activities to get students excited about the new school year and ready to show their school spirit. One would think after the organized events and our Homecoming responsibilities were finished that we might stop hanging out, but that would not be the case. We kicked off our "friendship" going to a Natasha Bedingfield concert, having our first date at Bad Weather Brewing Company, and spending lots of time at the Kollege Klub and Frank & Andreas. Then we finally made it official in February of 2020 right before COVID. Of course COVID was devastating for so many reasons, but it allowed us so much special time together including meeting each other's families and taking a few trips! The past (almost) six years have been full of good times but here are some of the highlights: traveling to concerts/music festivals, attending our loved ones' weddings, starting our careers, and putting down roots in Rochester with our first home. We love our story and hope you do too!
