How can I RSVP?
Answer
RSVPs will open on this website when invitations are sent in March. Until then, stick our Save the Date on the fridge to remember!
Question
Will the ceremony be outdoors?
Answer
Yes! The ceremony and reception are held at the same location, with the ceremony occurring outside and the dinner party reception being held indoors. If rain is forecasted, coverage will be provided, so you won't get rained on!

What's the dress code?
Answer
We'd love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in semi-formal or cocktail attire. Please no jeans and avoid shades of white. Be mindful of location and weather; it will be warm!

What will the weather be like?
Answer
While we can't be 100% sure, the average temperatures in June here are 86º/66º, so plan for warm weather! If it does rain, there will be coverage outside during the ceremony.

When do we need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP by May 1st using the RSVP tab in the menu. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend.

Are children invited?
Answer
Although we love your little ones, this is an adult-only affair! Due to limited space & accommodations, and safety concerns with the open water at the venue, we ask that you please leave your little ones at home. We completely understand that this may be difficult for some, so we promise: no hard feelings if you need to stay home! We love you anyway :)

Will there be dancing?
Answer
We will be having a dinner party reception! There will be music and places to mingle, but we will not have a traditional dance floor. We figured we should save you the pain of watching two people with two left feet! In place of dancing, we would love to see everyone have a drink, mingle, and play some games, inside or outside.

What's on the menu?
Answer
Catering will be provided by our favorite restaurant for date night: Midwood Smokehouse! A variety of appetizers will be provided during cocktail hour at around 3:30pm, and dinner will be served at 4pm! Plan to have a late breakfast or brunch before the wedding. For dinner, there will be pork and chicken BBQ, salads and collard greens, mac 'n cheese, slider rolls, and plenty of desserts to go around! If you have a dietary restriction, please let us know so we can accommodate you.

What is the parking situation?
Answer
The ceremony and reception are in the same location, so you only have to park once! There is an on-site parking lot with plenty of space right next to the venue. There are plenty of spaces, so please do not park in the grass.
Question
Should I bring my phone?
Answer
Please do! We would love for you to take photos during the reception and share them with us. We will have a DropBox folder for everyone to share their photos afterward. However, please keep in mind that we are having an unplugged ceremony. We want to see all of your smiling faces from the altar!
