Hotel
This is the wedding venue! It is a cluster of buildings and cottages right on the water. We will be reserving the resort for the night of the wedding (Saturday, 5 November, 2022) so everyone planning to stay at the resort that night will have their Saturday stay covered. If you are planning to arrive before or stay after the wedding and want to stay at Oceanstone, please let us know and we will communicate with the venue; the rooms are not available for reservation on their website but we can communicate everyone's stays to venue. There are also plenty of other B&Bs and hotels in the Halifax/Peggy's Cove area if you are interested in staying somewhere else. We've listed some Halifax hotels and another nearby B&B at the bottom of this page to help you plan your trip.
Flight
This is the airport closest to the resort. The venue is approximately 50 minutes to an hour away from the airport and the city of Halifax. We will have two to three vehicles available between ourselves and both our families to help shuttle people to the resort to make the trip easier for everyone flying in or staying in Halifax prior to the wedding. Please communicate your airport travel plans with us so that we can help make sure you get from the airport to the venue and back to the airport on time. If you are interested in renting a car or using bus/shuttle services to and from Halifax, please see the notes below.

Travel Note
The Halifax Transit MetroX service runs from downtown Halifax to Halifax Stanfield International Airport. The bus (#320) runs every 30 minutes during peak times (6am to 9am and 3pm to 6pm) and every 60 minutes at off peak times. The current cost is CAD $4.25 for adults/students and CAD $3.00 for children/seniors. If purchasing your ticket on the bus, exact change is required. Bus tickets can also be purchased at transit retail partners. The Maritime Bus also provides limited service between the airport to the Westin Nova Scotian Hotel along Terminal Road.

There are many hotels available in the area. We recommend the hotels in downtown Halifax, particularly if you are interested in exploring the city and restaurants in the area.
