What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Welcomed. Formal evening attire is requested; tuxedos and gowns are warmly welcomed. Please note that denim of any kind is not permitted inside The Detroit Athletic Club.

Is there transportation available?

Answer

Shuttle transportation will be provided from the Godfrey Hotel and Westin Book Cadillac Hotel to the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament for the ceremony, with continued service to The Detroit Athletic Club for the reception. Return shuttles will run throughout the evening with drop-offs back at both hotels. Please check our website closer to the date for detailed shuttle times and pickup locations.

Is there parking available?

Answer

For the ceremony, parking is available in the lot behind the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament. For the reception, complimentary valet services and self-parking will be available at The Detroit Athletic Club.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we kindly ask that only those guests listed on the invitation attend.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of Gillian and John’s nieces and nephew, who will be joining us for the ceremony.
