When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you kindly RSVP by September 8, 2022. If that is an issue for you, please contact one of us privately.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Currently, there is no valet parking at Plattduetsche Park, but there is handicap parking if needed. There is a parking lot on Bavarian Field for the venue; however, it is located behind the Bier Hall off Renken Blvd. Please see attached link for context: https://g.page/PlattBiergarten?share

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the ceremony at 5 PM sharp! We want to maximize the party for everyone!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to the ceremony at 4 pm starting from the Hampton Inn in Rockville Centre, with an additional stop at the East Rockaway train station. After the reception, transportation will leave at 9:45 pm and midnight.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We ask for cocktail party attire.

What type of food will be at the wedding?

Answer

Although the wedding is at a German Heritage site, there will be a variety of flavors at the wedding, including some German staples. Please note: The reception is a cocktail-style wedding and there will be no sit-down dinner.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

If you plan on staying for the after-party, keep in mind it is Oktoberfest at Plattduetsche Park, and there will be cultural festivities at the bier hall. Please plan accordingly.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children. Thank you for understanding.

Unfortunately, we cannot allow extra guests unless specified in your invitation. Our apologies!
