Question

Are masks required?

Answer

Yes, masks are required when walking through the property. Once you are seated at the ceremony or enter the reception, masks can be removed. Hand sanitizer will be available to all guests. If you would like to attend, but would like to be socially distanced from others, please let the bride know ahead of time to allow time to rearrange the seating chart.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

It's a beach style wedding; therefore, suits are not required. Semi-formal dress is appropriate. No jeans, please.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both: the ceremony is going to be outside on Bimini Beach. We will then walk over to the Tiffany Room, indoors, above Blackfins restaurant.

Question

How important is it for me to RSVP?

Answer

It is required. We need an accurate number of guests for the caterers. You can either fill out your RSVP card and drop it in the mail, or RSVP right here on our website. Click on RSVP and select yes or no. The last day to RSVP is March 26, 2021.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, please do, as long as you share them! With that said, please be aware of our hard working photographers and please do not obstruct their view. Otherwise, take as many photos and videos you'd like. Then share them on social media with the hashtag #turningterranova2021

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

When you RSVP online, you will see if you are allowed a plus 1. Please do not bring more than 1 additional guest, otherwise, they will not have a seat. They are welcome to join us after the reception at Capt. Hiram's Tiki bar after 9:30. We are limited to seats due to Covid and the size of the venue. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Do I need to arrange for transportation from the hotel?

Answer

No! All you have to do is walk across the street! Everything is taking place at Capt. Hiram's resort. If you are not staying at the hotel, you may park in the parking lot across the street from the venue.

Question

What if I will only be attending the ceremony and not the reception?

Answer

Please specify this when you RSVP or email the bride at joeandgill5162020@yahoo.com

Question

What if I RSVP and plans change?

Answer

You may change your RSVP anytime online before the deadline, April 2, 2021. If it is after the deadline, please email the bride at joeandgill5162020@yahoo.com or call her at 813-957-8130 or call the mother of the bride (Liz) 508-561-2871.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We are beginning the ceremony promptly at 5:00 pm. Please try to arrive between 4:30 and 5:00 pm.

Question

Will the cocktail hour and reception be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, but please be prepared to tip the amazing staff. I know with this crew, the bartenders will be working very hard! lol

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are going to be asking guests to help us build our future with donations. We are looking to buy a house in the near future. Right now we have limited space for items to be stored. With that being said, we do have a small registry at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

Question

By what date do I need to book my room at the hotel?

Answer

Please book your room, no later than April 15th. After April 15th, the rooms left are going to be made available to the public.
