We're Getting Married!

We met back in 2017 through playing video games. I happened to become friends with a British girl through playing a game called Overwatch. She then introduced me to Giles's best friend Alex who introduced me to Giles. Giles and I became fast friends and ended up talking almost daily for 2 years while dating other people, at the time we just weren't ready for long distance. Then in June of 2019 I made a move and we've been happily together ever since. We first met in December of 2019 when Giles visited California for the first time. The next time we were together in person would be December 2020 when I flew to South Africa in the 2 week window when they opened their boarders during the pandemic. Then I did a short 2 week visit to ZA in March of 2022. After my design internship ended I went and lived in Cape Town, ZA with Giles for a year Oct 2022-Nov 2023 where I built him 1 electric guitar and 2 electric bass guitars. In Dec 2023 Giles joined me in California for a visit and now we're here! About to get married! It's been a wild ride of intense emotions and patience waiting for the next time we would see each other in person and we're extremely happy to be tying the knot to keep us together.
