Era una tarde como cualquier otra. Yo estaba trabajando en un restaurante, cuando lo vi entrar. Venía con su hijo y me pidió de favor que le llevara la mesa. Lo saludé, porque ya le había cortado el cabello hacía como unos 10 meses. Ahí comenzó esta bella historia de amor. Él regresó varias veces al restaurante, hasta que consiguió mi número de teléfono. Siempre llamaba al restaurante para asegurarse de que yo estuviera trabajando. Comenzamos a salir. Por unos tres meses, después del trabajo nos íbamos a comer y a platicar. Así nos fuimos conociendo. Cuando los dos pensábamos que no íbamos a encontrar el amor, Dios permitió que nos enamoráramos. Fue en el momento perfecto de Dios: ni antes, ni después. Fue en Su tiempo. ¿Y si se preguntan cómo fue que nos juntamos? Él me pidió que lo acompañara durante los días que su hijo Denny se iba de vacaciones a México. La excusa era que no quería estar solo… y aquí estamos, ya tenemos tiempo siendo el uno para el otro. Le doy gracias a Dios por ello. Pero lo más bello y hermoso ha sido cuando Dios vino a nuestras vidas. Hemos visto Sus bendiciones sobre nosotros, y aquí estamos… esperando esa fecha tan especial. It was an ordinary afternoon. I was working at a restaurant when I saw him walk in. He came in with his son and kindly asked if I could take them to their table. I greeted him, because I had cut his hair about 10 months earlier. That’s when this beautiful love story began. He came back to the restaurant several times until he finally got my phone number. He would always call the restaurant to make sure I was working. We started going out. For about three months, after work we would go out to eat and talk. That’s how we got to know each other. When we both thought we would never find love, God allowed us to fall in love. It happened in God's perfect timing— not before, not after—just at the right moment. And if you're wondering how we ended up together… He asked me to stay with him during the days his son, Denny, was going on vacation to Mexico. His excuse was that he didn’t want to be alone… and here we are, having become everything to each other. I thank God for that. But the most beautiful and precious part has been when God came into our lives. We’ve seen His blessings over us, and here we are… waiting for that special day.
