FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by May 1st so we can finalize details with our vendors.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please plan to arrive by 4:00 PM to allow time for parking, a pre-ceremony drink, and to be seated

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

All events will take place at a private residence: 8066 Little England Road, Hayes, VA 23072

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love for our guests to embrace a “Garden Formal” style for our wedding day, but most importantly, we want everyone to feel comfortable. Since the wedding will be outdoors on grass, we encourage attire that feels elevated while still being practical for an outdoor setting. * Summer dresses, midi/maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits * Suits, sport coats, dress pants with a button down, blazers, ties optional * Floral prints, bright/spring colors, and seasonal tones are encouraged! Since the venue includes grass and uneven outdoor surfaces, we recommend: Block heels, wedges, dressy flats, and sandals

Question

Is the wedding outdoors or indoors?

Answer

Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held outdoors. All events will take place on grass, so we recommend choosing footwear accordingly (block heels, wedges, or flats are great options)

Question

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available on-site.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Please take this opportunity to enjoy a date night with us!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have reserved room blocks at nearby hotels and also recommend exploring local Airbnbs in the Yorktown, Gloucester, and Hayes areas. Please visit our Travel page for more details

Question

What type of food and drinks will be served?

Answer

We’re excited to offer a variety of food throughout the evening! Cocktail hour will feature an assortment of passed and stationed hors d’oeuvres. For dinner, guests can enjoy a steak entrée as well as chicken and shrimp tacos, accompanied by a selection of delicious side dishes. Later in the evening, we’ll be serving late-night sliders and fries on the dance floor to keep the celebration going. A full bar will be available all night.
