They met in high school, sophomore year. He was the skinny guy that talked a lot, wrote in red pen and asked her out several times. She always replied "No" even though she liked him. Fast forward several years and they run into each other in San Antonio at San Antonio College. She didn't recognize him at first but he had a big smile and called her name. They greeted each other and went their own ways. Some time later she walks into a Blockbuster Video store and lookie who the manager is, him. This time they exchange numbers and meet up later though nothing comes of it, after meeting up once. Life was taking them both in different directions. One day at Sea Island she's admiring a little girl in the arms of her Daddy. When she comes face to face with the Dad it's her old high school friend. Greetings were exchanged and they both went on their way. Almost 10 years later Facebook connects them again. They catch up and become good friends again seeing each other when the other comes into their respective towns. After a couple of years of friendship and her moving back to the valley the two began seriously dating. Eight years later he wore her down and popped the question. She said “yes” and now they're getting married. FINALLY! The boy got the girl.
