Where is the venue?

Answer

The Magnolia Wedding Venue is located at 1120 Eagle Pointe Way, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. We ask that our guests park at Smoky Mountain Ziplines, located at 509 Mill Creek Road, Pigeon Forge TN 37863, where you will be shuttled up to the venue.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 in the afternoon. Shuttle service will begin at 1:30 pm from the Smoky Mountain Zipline parking lot. Last pickup time is at 2:45 pm. If you do not catch a shuttle before then, sadly you will not be able to attend the ceremony.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal, so please no jeans or denim pants. We suggest men wear dress pants and a button up shirt. For women we suggest wearing a midi-or floor length dress. Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be taking place outdoors if the weather permits, so we suggest bringing a coat or sweater to keep warm.

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. This means we are asking all guests to kindly put away and silence all cellphones and cameras during the ceremony. We have hired wonderful professional photographers to capture this beautiful moment and we are asking that cellphones are not in the way or blocking those moments for our photographers. However, after the ceremony has concluded, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you’d like!

Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that when choosing an outfit for this special day you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride such as whites, ivories, and creams. We also suggest avoiding emerald green as this will be the color of the bridal party.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes. A cocktail hour will immediately follow the ceremony where our guests are invited to visit with one another over beer, wine, and cocktails.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. On the day of the ceremony we will have a shuttle service that offers door to door service from a variety of hotels to our venue. The hotels included with the shuttle service are listed on the “Travel” section of this website.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. We want to make sure all of our guests have something to eat during our reception dinner. If you have any food allergies or concerns, please let us know.
