Are kids invited?

Answer

We would love for our friends and family who are parents to have a night out, so we will be having an adults only reception. That being said, Chris and I have hired babysitters to help any parents who would like to attend! We are using a service called My Fair Nanny (http://www.myfairnanny.com/), who will send text updates throughout the evening. They can babysit younger children or provide supervision for older kids (ie preteens and teens).

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please send an email to gilbertlegatowedding@gmail.com with the title "Food Allergy". We will work with our caterer to make sure that you have something to eat!

What are the COVID safety measures?

Answer

We are requesting everyone send their vaccination cards to gilbertlegatowedding@gmail.com so we can be sure that all our guests are vaccinated. The city of Philadelphia is requiring that any establishment serving food or drink must check the vaccination status of its patrons. This includes private events, like our wedding. Vaccination card and ID will be checked at the door, but a photo of your card is also acceptable. Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we are booking a shuttle service to run between the hotel and the venue before the ceremony and throughout the reception.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is garage parking about one block away from the Academy of Natural Sciences.
